Damon Albarn is an English musician, composer, record producer and the lead singer of the rock band Blur and the alternative rock supergroup Gorillaz. He has also been involved in numerous other projects, including work with Elton John, Paul Weller, Noel Gallagher, Danger Mouse and Africa Express. Albarn's solo work comprises mainly experimental electronic music. Albarn was born in Whitechapel, London on March 23, 1968.
